The Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center provides a vibrant, inclusive space in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley for all of the region's LGBTQ+ residents. It produces affirming community programming and addresses barriers to care through its LGBTQ+ health programs. The Center advocates for its community, organizes the region's annual Pride festival, and makes the Lehigh Valley more equitable through its LGBTQ+ Education Institute.
The Eastern PA Trans Equity Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering and serving transgender people across 42 counties in Pennsylvania, reaching over 6,000 individuals each year. Its programs include community support groups, case management, basic needs assistance, workforce development, legal name change help, and scholarships. The organization also partners with medical providers, social service agencies, and corporations to promote culturally competent care and inclusive workplaces throughout the region.
Lehigh Valley Girls Rock
LVGR is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering cisgender girls and women + nonbinary and transgender folks through music and art. They build self-confidence through encouragement and nurture an inclusive environment in which youth and adults of marginalized genders can feel comfortable learning new things. Their programs include Get LOUD - a youth rock camp, The Band Factory, after school clubs, music lessons, and community workshops.
